Fancy Thai dishes in an upscale casual bistro.
We recently dropped in for Oakland restaurant week and the food was excellent! The coconut cake ceviche is not what we would normally pick, but was really delicious - a combination of savory sweet coconut, cilantro, roe, and spicy chili! Next we had the vegetarian massaman curry and the drunken noodles. Personally I find noodles at restaurants can be very hit or miss, but these were delicious - pan seared with brisket and red peppers. The curry was great too!
During our original visit, we had a delightful dinner at Jo’s on Saturday night that started with two cocktails, including the ‘Makrut Three Ways’ which was excellent, and the Thai Garden which was herbal and mildly sweet. For our meal, we had the green papaya salad, which was quite spicy even at medium, the surf and turf, and the Pork Laab Burger. Normally I prefer a curry or pad Thai, but the burger was absolutely delicious- seared, juicy, and spiced just right on a toasted bun with aioli. We would visit again!

A truly outstanding Thai restaurant a cut above the others, and among the best Bib Gourmand restaurants I’ve visited. First, the ambiance is outstanding (perfect for dates and special occasions) and the service is very friendly. But the food is just out of this world — the drunken noodles are a gem and so is the pork laab burger. I also tried the pad thai, which is on-point. The desserts and drinks are also very good. For the quality, the prices aren’t bad. Been here twice and will definitely be back.

One of my favorite new spots. Came here with some friends and we all had a great time and loved everything we ate. The place had a great vibe, nice lighting, good music. Lots of unique options on the menu, interesting cocktails and solid N/A options. The server we had was really nice. Would absolutely recommend the wings, crab rice, pork belly curry, drunken noodles (spicy!)... And really anything else. Everything we had was great (see photos). We will definitely be coming back 👍🏼

From the moment we walked into this Thai fusion restaurant, we were blown away. The atmosphere had such a warm, homey feel. Everyone greeted us with big smiles and genuine friendliness. It immediately set the tone for a great night.
We honestly weren’t sure what to expect, but the food turned out to be surprisingly amazing. Every dish had incredible flavor without being overwhelming, and there was something on the menu for everyone. The cocktails were absolutely declious!
The service made the experience even better. Jack and TK were outstanding, attentive and kind. They made us feel truly taken care of.
And of course, the perfect ending: dessert. Our little daughter loved it so much that it might’ve been her favorite part of the night!
Overall, a fantastic spot we can’t wait to come back to. Highly recommend!

We recently went there for dinner with friends. The experience was unforgettable, both the taste and the service were spectacular.
If you have any allergies/preference, please tell your waiter ahead of time so they can let you know the options and alert the chef. Every dish we tried has various layers of flavors and textures.
The only downside of this place is there's only one bathroom so it takes a bit of wait sometimes to use it.
We will definitely come back to try more dishes!

Maybe the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. I’m
Not very adventurist and we got the coconut cake appetizer (10/10) and the lobster tail pad Thai. I hate lobster…wife wanted it, it was amazing.
I also hate spicy food and kept putting their chili powder mix on my plate.
We’re moving to Oakland next month and this will be our primary date spot. Staff awesome, food awesome, chill, got to sit in the window.
